It’s safe to say that our parents are happy to see us grow and get rid of some habits associated with immaturity, but some animals are way cuter as babies and this is how we would all love to see them remain forever. Every species has a different age of maturity. For instance a cat can be considered a baby for about a year while an elephant can take up to 20 years to reach full maturity.
Baby animals are very curious, naïve and big-eyed, just like us. A major difference is that these cute baby animals are way furrier than us. It takes time for them to learn the difference between wrong from right and to fully understand what are the best ways in which they could survive. But if you have a camera near you, you can definitely capture some funny moments of them trying to figure out exactly how the world works.
Take a short break and browse these cute baby animal pictures, which will most likely make your day a little better and lighten your mood. We chose not to include any stuffed cute baby animals or ones present in anime, drawings or any other kind of cartoon because that hardly seems fair.
1. Baby Giraffe
We can’t take our eyes away from this pretty little thing. The giraffe can be looked at as an exotic creature. With its long neck and spotted skin, this wild animal really looks like an alien… more or less.
2. Baby Elephant
There’s an old saying stating that elephants never forget anything. We don’t really know for sure if that is true or not but what we are sure of is that we won’t forget this adorable little thing anytime soon.
3. Baby Deer
Even though every time we see a baby deer it kind of reminds us of the tragic end of Bambi’s mother, it is still a great price to pay to see such a wonderful little creature. We’re not really sure why people hunt these adorable animals and we don’t really want to think about it too much.
4. Duckling
Ducks are simply adorable. I can’t help but stare at those big black eyes and at its fuzzy yellow coat. Ducklings are part of any coloring book and we can honestly see why. A happy duck is a great sight and children love to draw pics of these fuzzy little beings.
5. Baby Crocodile
Who would have thought that these ferocious creatures had such adorable little babies. This crocodile is undoubtedly a cute baby animal. This just shows that cute animal babies don’t necessarily have to be covered in puffy fur to be adorable.
6. Baby Ant Eater
We just love this lazy little thing. Even though these animals really do lose their cuteness when they reach maturity, this is one of the most adorable and cute baby animal pictures we’ve seen.
7. Baby Owl
This little fellow has an incredibly expressive look. It almost looks like it’s done a bad thing and uses big puppy eyes to get away with it. We definitely forgive you, you adorable and cute baby animal.
8. Baby Seal
This white seal is extremely photogenic. I wish I would look as good as this cute baby animal in my images.
9. Bunny
Bunnies make great pets. They’re one of the few animals that remain adorable throughout their life cycle. They don’t make a lot of mess and they are very quiet. They just hop around and make your day a whole lot better.
10. Piglet
Ever since the movie Babe and Winnie the Pooh, piglets have received a lot of attention. They’re truly adorable and they can be super friendly when they are small. Why not visit a farm to get a clue about how truly adorable these small things are.
11. Baby Hamster
We just love hamsters, mice and other adorable rodents. Hamsters are also one of the animals that remain cute in their adulthood.
12. Baby Skunk
Even though it would be pretty unlucky to be sprayed by this skunk, this cute baby animal kind of makes up for it. Well… not really, but it’s still a pretty adorable little thing.
13. Baby Ducks Playing with Puppy
Did we tell you that we love ducklings? How could you not love these cute baby animals? Especially seeing how friendly they are with man’s best friend.
14. Kitten
Okay. Everybody loves kittens. This is simply a fact. Cats are adorable as adults as well but there’s something about a kitten that really makes us go “awww”.
15. Baby Raccoon
While you may find its mother and father going around through your trash in the night, this baby raccoon has definitely stole our hearts (and not our garbage).
16. Corgi Puppy
Puppies are adorable. Corgi puppies are even more adorable than that. I remember seeing a YouTube video at one point with a corgi stampede. It was the most adorable thing ever captured on camera. Period.
17. Baby Red Panda
This baby red panda kind of reminds us of Pabu from The Legend of Korra, the popular sequel to the Avatar: The Last Airbender TV Show.
18. Mustache Kitten
This mustache kitten is the best thing you can see today. I love how tiny its paws are and those adorable black eyes and nose. It probably has a cute little name as well, such as Whiskers or Fluff’n’Snug or another one of those adorable names used for cats. Little kitty, you have our hearts.
19. Baby Hippo
It’s hard to believe that this small thing will grow up to be a 3,000 pound lard butt. We love to see these animals even when they are mature and are one of our favorite animals to visit at the zoo.
20. Baby Chinchilla
We can’t really understand why people wear furs and photos of cute baby chinchillas are one of the reason why this is the case. Chinchillas are best in our wallpapers, web pages and funny gifs online and not on sale in pet shops. We mean it, search for a wallpaper with a chinchilla. It’ll really brighten your day.
