Summer is finally here and it’s the perfect season to show off more skin. We all want to enjoy ourselves and look comfortable in our own skin. One of the ways to do that is to have a healthy, glowing skin. There are some many chemical cosmetics out there that are expensive and not very healthy, that promise us to brighten our skin, make it glow, smooth it out, purify it and so on. But why go through all of that when you can achieve a perfect skin the natural way. We would like to share with you 10 easy tips for glowing skin.

That’s right. One easy way to go from tired looking skin to healthy, glowing skin is to exercise. You need to get the lungs and heart pumping in order to increase blood blow and oxygen to the skin. This way you will have a smoother looking skin and that natural post-exercise glow. Exercising opens the pore and the sweat cleanse the skin of dirt and other impurities.

By exfoliating you remove dead skin cells and prevent the pores from becoming clogged and cause breakouts. It also increases blood flow to the face, which will give you a healthy looking flush. Mix sugar with some olive oil and you’ve got yourself a natural skin scrub.

Another one of our easy tips for glowing skin is to use a toner. Toners remove dirt and close the pores, making your skin ready for absorbing moisture. There are so many recipes for natural toners on the internet but we want to tell you about our favorite: brew a cup of green tea, leave it to cool and use a cotton ball to wipe your face with it. You will notice smaller, tighter pores and your skin will feel clean and fresh.

Being out in the sun, swimming in the salty sea or ocean waters or swimming in chlorinated pools can have extreme drying effects on our skin. Luckily for us there are so many natural moisturizers right in our kitchen. Mix a spoonful of honey with a squeeze of lemon juice and a teaspoon of olive oil and voila! A great moisturizer that will leave your face hydrated and glowing.

Food like eggs, milk and carrots are rich in vitamin A; you can get the vitamin C from fresh fruits and vegetables and for vitamin E you need to eat nuts, vegetable oils and broccoli.

They don’t call it beauty sleep for nothing. Lack of sleep can have a direct effect on our skin, making it look dull, puffy eyes and dark circles. You need to sleep 7 to 8 hours at night in order to wake up fresh and with a glowing looking skin.
