We have all seen colleagues doing some insane things at our office. No matter how skilled you are or what you have achieved, there are a few things that immediately modify the way others see you (and permanently toss you in a bad light).
The list below contains ten of the most well known things that you must avoid all the time.
#1 Telling Lies
Many lies start from positive intentions – persons who like to protect themselves or other people – but lies often develop in to something worse and are spread until they are discovered, and after everyone finds out that you have lied, there is no returning back.
Being caught in lies, no matter how little they are, is stressful and difficult on your self-esteem. You must be genuine if you want to be satisfied with who you really are.
#2 Gossiping
We make ourselves look dreadful when we are taken away with chatting about other individuals. Stewing in discussions about people’s bad luck or misfortunes can end up harming their emotions if the rumors discover their way to them, and gossiping will anyone look bad and spiteful whenever, be assured.
A gossip is always a bad thing, no matter what you might thing, since most people d not like to be talked about in a negative matter. In addition, it can get back to you and become the main target for the colleagues in your office.
#3 Telling That You Dislike the Job
The last thing a person wants to listen to at his workplace is someone stressing about how much they despise their jobs. By doing so, the individual is labeled as a negative colleague and takes down the spirit of the team. Managers are fast to capture the negative people out there who bring down the general morale, while they know that there is always a passionate alternative patiently waiting outside the office.
#4 Having a Psychological Hijacking
The emotional hijackings reveal low emotional intellect, and it is a simple way to be fired instantly. As soon as we display that stage of uncertainty, individuals will query whether we are reliable and able of maintaining it together when it matters.
Getting angry with anyone, no matter how much they have “deserved it,” brings a lot of adversity your way. You will be marked as volatile, unapproachable and overwhelming.

Stabbing your co-workers in the back, deliberately or otherwise, is a main resource of trouble in the office. One of the most regular types of backstabbing is getting over someone to fix an issue. People generally do this in an effort to prevent problems, but it ends up developing even more issues as soon as the sufferer sees the knife. At any time you make a person look bad in front of his co-workers, it is like a stabbing in the back, irrelevant of your objectives.
