Yesterday we were talking about the 2014 Emmy winners and we celebrated our favorite TV shows of this year. We were sky-high happy that Breaking Bad won a lot of awards including Best Drama, Best Actor – Bryan Cranston, Best Supporting Actor – Aaron Paul and Best Supporting Actress – Anna Gunn. We were a bit disappointed that True Detective didn’t get as many awards as it should have but at least its director, Cary Fukunaga. Now it’s time to have a look at what the divas wore at the Emmys. Here are the Emmy 2014 best dressed actresses.

10. Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vegara was one of the most anticipated actresses on the red carpet because she is known for not disappointing whatever she decides to wear. At the 2014 Emmy Awards she literally glimmered in a Roberto Cavalli long gown. She looked like a cross between a mermaid and a beautiful statue. Her red lipstick and beautiful long ear rings completed her glamorous look.

9. Hayden Panettiere

This lovely Nashville soon-to-be mommy was astonishing in her silver Lorena Arbu dress. The pregnant actress said that the gown “fit her like a glove” and it sure looked amazing on her. Also, that neckline was extremely sexy and turned plenty of heads on the red carpet. Way to go Hayden!

8. Sarah Hyland – Emmy 2014 Best Dressed Actresses

The Modern Family star Sarah Hyland brought back the sexiness of the crop top trend and wore it flawlessly. The Christian Siriano two-piece was fun, sexy and fresh. Just when we thought that the crop trend disappeared, Sarah reminded us that it can look good. Modern Family won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy series this year. Congratulations to all the cast, we love them all.

7. Lizzy Caplan

Talking about black and white beauty! The star of Masters of Sex looked absolutely astonishing in her Donna Karan black and white dress. We love the show and we love Lizzy in it. We love Lizzy on the red carpet as well. She really looked like a Hollywood diva: elegant, stylish and fresh.

6. Michelle Dockery

One of our all time favorite shows is of course Downton Abbey. One of its stars, Michelle Dockery made it on our list of the Emmy 2014 Best Dressed Actresses not only because Vanity Fair included her on their best-dressed list this year but also because she looked superb in the Rosie Assoulin gown. We love the combination of colors and the way the dress looked on Michelle.

5. Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington is one of our favorite fresh actresses, although she’s been in the business for quite some time, by Hollywood standards she is still considered fresh. We also love how Kerry manages to look amazing in all of her outfits. She is the perfect combination of bold, ultra chic and unexpected. Orange is the new black. Pun intended.

4. Julie Bowen – Emmy 2014 Best Dressed Actresses

Not everyone can get away with floral prints but the Modern Family star managed to get away more than successfully. She looked lovely in her Peter Som gown, diaphanous yet so damn sexy. We also loved the hair-do and the ear rings. Good job Julie!

3. Cat Deely

Cat Deely’s Burberry gown was actually one of our personal dresses at the 2014 Emmy Awards. She was feminine, elegant and truly stylish. Cat managed to look like a real life modern princess, with a long neck line.

2. Amy Poehler

Seth Myers introduced Amy as Beyonce at the ceremony, a joke that made everyone in the audience laugh. Her fabulous metallic gown made her look like a real diva indeed and we loved the way it looked on her. Give it up for Amy ladies and gents!

1. Kristen Wiig

You’ve got to love Kristen. Not only she’s a brilliant and super funny actress and writer but she also looks fabulous wherever she is. For the 2014 Emmy Awards she chose a Vera Wang white dress that fitted her like a glove. She looked perfect from head to toes…especially those legs.

We hope you enjoyed our Emmy 2014 Best Dressed Actresses list. Of course there were many other superb looking actresses on the red carpet but we chose the ones that we really, really loved. Did you watch the Emmys? What do you think of the winners? What was your best dressed celebrity at the gala? We would love to hear from you so you can leave your comments in the section below. See you next time.
