You want to do things, you want to work, go out or see your friends, but you simply don’t have the energy to do it. You feel horribly tired all the time and you don’t know why that is. A little while back we gave you some tips on how to stay focused, but none of them can help you if your body is actually tired. There can be many causes behind tiredness and today we’re going to look at 10 reasons why you’re tired. Read on and let’s see if any might be why you’ve been feeling so tired lately.

10. You Exercise too Little or too Muchworking out

It may be hard to believe, but exercising too little can actually may you tired. Exercise breeds energy, is what many doctors are saying and the facts are facts! Studies have shown that people who exercise feel much less fatigue than those who don’t exercise at all. Just imagine how tired you feel after a day spent in front of the television eating junk food!

9. Vitamin Deficienciespotassium

Another very common factor behind your tiredness could be the lack of certain vitamins and nutrients. For example, low levels of potassium could be to blame for your fatigue. Make sure this is the cause by getting your blood checked out. It takes one day to get the results back and once you know this is the cause, you’re free to eat as many green leafy vegetables and as many bananas as you want!

8. Sleep IssuesSleeping

If you wake up tired in the morning, then maybe you’re not sleeping well and your body isn’t relaxing enough. Do you dream a lot? Do you toss and turn all night long? Most of the causes for a bad night’s sleep are psychological. If there is something bothering you during the day, something you would like to change, but feel that you can’t, it might show up to haunt you during the night.

7. Anemiaanemia

Anemia is a very common cause of tiredness and again, as it is with many deficiencies or illnesses, it can be checked with a simple and effective blood test. Women are mostly affected by anemia, especially those who have heavy flows during menstruation. Eat an iron-rich diet to fix that.

6. What You Eatcoffee

Come on, folks! Of course what you put in your body will affect how you feel. Eat only junk food and you will feel tired and sluggish all day long. It’s because your body won’t have the vitamins and minerals it needs to feel good. Try to eat as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible and cut the red meat. You will feel amazing and have lots of energy.

5. Thyroid Problemsthyroid

One of the reasons why you’re tired could be an overactive or underactive thyroid. You can check to see if that is the reason why you’re tired with a simple blood test. The thyroid gland produces hormones which are in charge of our mood and much, much more.

4. Diabetesdiabetes

People who have diabetes, but don’t know it will just not feel good. They will have an overall feeling of fatigue and unease. If you’re feeling tired all the time, not in the mood for anything, but you also urinate a lot, drink lots of water or have blurred vision, then there might be something off with your blood sugar levels. Go get a blood test to confirm or infirm.

3.  Menstruation  period

Women, if you should be getting your period, then a bit of tiredness is to be expected. Usually, you’ll feel tired the day before you get your period, so if you know you’re getting your period, don’t worry too much about feeling tired. Simply relax, have a drink and wait for it to come and go.

2.  DepressionDepression

If you’re tired, but you’re also sad, don’t have an appetite and you don’t seem to find pleasure in day to day things, then maybe you’re depressed. Do something about that, go see a doctor, a therapist, do something, but whatever you do, do not keep it all to yourself. Things could take a turn for the worst, fast!

1. Heart Issuesheart disease

Did you know that the sign of heart problem, especially in women, is fatigue? If you’re sleeping and eating right, getting enough exercise and you don’t have diabetes, then maybe there’s something wrong with your heart. Check it out, don’t wait! A healthy hart is the number one thing any person must have!
