Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theaters around March of next year and until then people all over the world have plenty of time to speculate about it, create high expectations and fill the internet with rumors and forum threads. Right now, not even the plotline is known for this movie, so everything you can find online is pretty much just speculation. Today, we’re going to chime in and reveal 10 things we expect from the Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Gal Godot as Wonder Woman.
The majority of the people interested in this movie that will undoubtedly be a blockbuster are not happy with Affleck as Batman. In this case, it would be nice if the two main actors at least have some chemistry together. Henry Cavill is very good as Superman, he’s got that quirky/hotness going on and we can only hope Affleck is as good as Batman as Bale was. Although we highly doubt it!
We could vouch a kidney that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is going to have more explosions that we can count! These days Hollywood relies a lot on explosions and high-speed chases, and we would love to see something a bit more Batman Returns (1992), but that will not happen!
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is going to be a box office hit! We are absolutely certain about that. I mean, even if the people won’t like it, the movie is going to have so much press and promotion, that enough people will show up to see it to ensure that it is a box office hit.
7. There Will Be Room for a Sequel
We don’t expect Hollywood to end this movie in a way that doesn’t leave room for a sequel. The Superman and Batman franchises have been around for decades and Hollywood is still making big money out of it. Here’s to another decade of these two amazing superheroes!
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director, Zack Snyder has been directing superhero movies for quite some time. He did 300 (2006), Watchmen (2006) and Man of Steel (2013). We have faith in him and we know that he will do a great job at directing this movie. We just hope the screen writer also nail it!
With so much hate around him as Batman, Ben Affleck doesn’t seem to stand a chance as being a successful Batman. Remember the George Clooney fiasco? Even though the world loves Clooney, they hated him as Batman. Same with Ben; he’s an Academy Award actor with pretty much only successes under his belt (aside from Gigli, naturally), but we don’t think he’s going to pull this one off.
Batman/Superman: Public Enemies is a direct-to-video animation that sees Batman and Superman teaming up to save earth from a meteorite and also remove Lex Luthor from the Presidency of United States. One of the things we expect from Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is to show the two superheroes as friends, rather as enemies, despite the versus in the title.
Many people online believe that this is the movie where Superman dies. He will sacrifice for the world he lives in and people will finally recognize his true value. Superman did die in one comic, so it wouldn’t be so farfetched. But would Hollywood really allow this to happen and let one of the largest cash-cows die? We don’t think so!
Although we don’t know anything about the plot, we do know that lots of other superheroes are going to be featured in the film, such as Aquaman and Wonder Woman and other already popular characters, such as Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg and Alfred, played by Jeremy Irons. We’re dying to find out how Aquaman and Wonder Woman interact with the main two characters.
Batman and Superman have met many times in comics and we hope that the 2016 movie draws some inspiration from comics. It doesn’t have to completely respect the comics! But it would be nice if a bit of the storyline relied on the good old comics that so many people love. Superman and Batman friends or foes?
