Since the appearance of Twilight, people all over the world (especially women) have become infatuated fans collecting memorabilia, reading the books, watching the movies, the series… everything that is vampire related. But since not all TV series are quality material for vampire fans, here ate top ten vampires TV series you should watch (if you’re into this type of production).
The series developed by Cole Daddon and Daniel Knauf (creator of HBO’s Carnivale), Dracula goes to London, posing as a businessman eager to bring modern science in the Victorian city. In reality, however, he seeks to revenge against those who dared to betray him a few hundred years ago. As his plans are close to being achieved, he falls madly in love with a woman who appears to be the reincarnation of his deceased wife.
2. Blood Ties
Blood Ties is a fantastic drama with thriller elements about a private detective in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) named Victoria Nelson, an intelligent woman over 30, strong and, above all, very stubborn. Vicki was a great homicide detective until a degenerative genetic disease began little by little to take her eyesight. Quitting the police brought her and separation from Mike Celluci, handsome and temperamental partner and loved them. One night, Vicki witnesses a bizarre murder and she finds herself dragged into a secret world, with mysterious vampires, demons, zombies and witches.
3. True Blood
Vampires were transformed overnight from legendary monsters to citizens like everyone else, thanks to a Japanese scientist who invented synthetic blood. Although people do not belong to the “menu”, they are still cautious. Religious leaders and officials of the world have chosen to be part of that camp, but in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps, the decision has not been taken.
4. Vampire Academy
Not yet released, but with a promising story. St. Vladimir’s Academy isn’t a school like any other, but a secret one, hidden deep within the forests of Montana, where the Moroi are educated in the secrets of magic, and young Dhampires are trained to defend from the attacks of bloody Strigoi.

The love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon has gathered fans all over the world. Stefan is a good vampire who does not want to hurt anyone, although when he drinks human blood, he tends to lose control, and Damon is a vampire with little humanity, who does everything he wants, but is extremely sexy. Who will Elena, the most popular and beautiful girl in school, choose?
6. The Originals
The series focuses on The Original family of vampires from Vampire Diaries and a rivalry in New Orleans.
Sanctuary is a science fiction series, designed for the Internet and is the first shot on Green Screen. Dr. Helen Mangus is the first woman doctor in the Royal College during Victorian England. Her fiance, John Druitt, possess the ability to manipulate time and space and thus can teleport, but each time, travel manipulates his DNA, negatively influencing his behavior. Being Human is a TV series that follows the lives of three youngsters who share the same apartment and try to lead a normal life, fighting with the problems caused by the second nature to everyone: one is a werewolf, the other a vampire and the third a ghost. It is among the most successful BBC series, nominated for a BAFTA in 2010.
The series tells the story of a vampire, working as a private investigator who falls for a mortal.

Now that he is grown up, Harry is the only private detective with special powers from Chicago who uses his powers to solve cases, to the dismay of the police and the rules already established in magic involving sometimes totally innocent people.
